We're delighted to introduce a colorful new product: C-Lon® Bead Cord. If you currently use Conso or Mastex for macramé jewelry, C-Lon Bead Cord is a comparable product with the added attraction of 64 colors and a smaller put up. Each bobbin is approximately 1 1/8 inches in diameter and 1 5/8 inches tall and holds approximately 86 yards. (Metric: bobbin dia. = 28mm, height = 40mm, approx 78 meters of thread per bobbin.)  Priced at  $3.50 per bobbin, much lower than the typical $6-7.00 for 2 oz Conso spools. Just ask for a sample when you place your next order.  I'll send you a foot or so from my stash! :o) Technical notes: C-Lon Bead Cord is an extra-heavy twisted multi-filament nylon thread. The breaking strength is about 34 lbs. Thread diameter is less than 0.5mm. It fits easily one time through the holes in Miyuki 11/0 seed beads, and the doubled thread passes easily through Miyuki 8/0s. Perfect for bead crochet!  Made in the USA.
